A complete online system for a local optical shop: an online store, a prescription-lens configurator, and eye-exam booking, built from scratch and shipped to production solo.
Challenge
Optika Cajs had a physical shop but no online presence at all: no way to sell, book, or configure prescription lenses online. Every inquiry meant a phone call or a shop visit. The goal was a system that keeps working outside business hours: selling, booking, and keeping records without extra staff.

A full glasses-and-lenses store with categories, search, and a cart, built to actually sell, not just display a catalog.
Prescription-lens configurator
Step-by-step selection of strength, lens type, and add-ons, with a live-updating price, the most complex part of the system.
Customer accounts
Sign-up, order history, and saved prescription data for faster repeat orders.
Eye-exam booking
Online booking for eye exams, with confirmation and reminders, no phone calls required.
Admin panel
Manage products, orders, and appointments from one place, without touching code.
Secure architecture
HMAC SHA-256 signing for sensitive operations, a containerized environment, and a database designed to scale.
Automated testing
24 automated tests cover the critical flows (shop, configurator, and booking) before every release.
Responsive design
The same experience on phone, tablet, and desktop. Most customers arrive on mobile.
